The Aesthetics of Ageing. Critical Approaches to Literary Representations of the Ageing Process

This collection of articles analyses the depiction and understanding of old age in several English literary and cinematographic works. Throughout these artistic productions, ageing is perceived as a problem but also, and most importantly, as a challange that becomes an opportunity to explore in depth what does it mean to be human.
