This volume gathers the theses read between 1993 and 1997 at the University of Lleida. This is a text that provides university students and researchers with some of the research results obtained in the institution. The works gathered are original, complete and have been reviewed by their authors. They are organized into two areas: experimental life and nature sciences, and human and social sciences. Both areas of knowledge include thematic and more specific subsections.
