Studying the landscape is an effective way to answer questions about the changes that took place during the Middle Ages. At the same time, it simplifies the future territorial planning of our surroundings. This basic knowledge on the topic is a useful tool when it comes to space management and it allows for an assessment of the surrounding elements as part of our heritage (villages, buildings, roads, irrigation canals, borders and terraces).
