Research challenges in women’s history

This is a book devoted to raising scientific questions about the current challenges in
women’s history and in the history of the female gender. Its main aim is to promote the
debate and the opening of new perspectives for advanced and specialized research. It
is organized into three major areas of research. The first one is focused on issues about
theory, methods and sources; the second one raises questions related to the economy, the
society and the everyday life in past times and the third one deals with cultural history
and cultural studies.
