Quartets romans op. 23

Jordi-Agustí Piqué’s Quartets romans op. 23 is the result of an order placed by the music association of the University of Lleida (Aula de Música). These musical works were performed for the firs time in the university’s Víctor Siurana room by the Quartet de Barcelona on the 25th of November of 2004 during the XII UdL Music Season. The members of the quartet were Marc Armengol, violin; Edurne Vila, violin; Ulrike Janssen, viola; and Sergi Boadella, violoncello.
