Pensativa. A recreation is made of ceràmic plaster of an sculptural work

The Pensativa sculpture is located in the Rectorate’s cloister of the University of Lleida since 1996 and it is an element acclaimed and loved by all the university community.

It is a symbol of reflection and sensitivity and also a tribute to the artist Leandre Cristòfol, since it is an enlarged bronze replica of an original piece created in 1936.

It is a work of the sculptor from Lleida Gaspar Parra. This small-format recreation to scale 1:2 is made of ceramic plaster placed on an oak wood base.

Its dimensions are 25.5 cm high, 12.5 cm wide and 16 cm deep, with a total weight of 2.3 kg.
