Modernització i crisi comunitària. Estudis d’etnohistòria rural: la Catalunya occidental en el canvi dels segles XIX-XX

With a multidisciplinary approach,this book gathers several studies that focus on the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries. This volume analyzes the community crisis caused by modernization and gives information about the response of Western Catalan rural society to this situation. All in all, this is a microhistory research that uses local sources of information integrated in a wider European context.
