David Plana became a well-known playwright when his play Mala Sang was released in 1997, obtaining both public and critical great success. The play won the prize for the best new show of the year and the Serra d’Or for its script. This volume by the Universitat de Lleida gives readers the chance to discover Mala Sang‘s script. At the same time, it rescues Petita mort from oblivion, an unpublished essential script of new Catalan dramaturgy that made its debut in Barcelona in 1998. The author’s new version of the script has been included.
