Les romancières sentimentales: nouvelles approches, nouvelles perspectives

Popular literature and its depiction of feminine figures are the main topics of the research carried out by the team led by Àngels Santa and M. Carme Figuerola in the University of Lleida. This volume includes almost twenty works that focus on romantic novels published between the 17th century and our current times. Through literary criticism and an exhaustive analysis, the authors try to give these tales, stories and romantic novels the value they deserve and that has usually been denied to them.
