La pobresa a Lleida. Impacte de la crisi sobre les rendes salarials i les pensions

The economic growth model of first-world countries was responsible for the biggest economic crisis of the last decades. It implied a significant wealth concentration and an increase of poverty due to salary devaluation and job losses. For this reason, this text focuses on the influence the crisis has had in income and working conditions in Lleida’s area. Meaning the crisis’ effects on workers’ income, on the compensation of unemployed people, on the minimum income and on the situation of old age pensioners.
