La integració en l’estructura social de les minories ètniques

Taking into account that socio-cultural integration of ethnic minorities is a multidimensional process, this type of integration is defined as the promotion of unity in diversity. It offers equal opportunity to join the social structure without giving up the own identity and culture. However, the existence of a shared culture and identity is essential. This process is analyzed distinguishing between social structure, cultural integration and identity integration. The current study provides information about the main conclusions related to the inclusion of Africans, Asians and Gypsies in the social structure of two Spanish provinces belonging to different autonomous communities (Lleida and Huesca).
