La historiografía sobre el municipio en la España Moderna

This volume explores the dominant interpreting paradigms that apply to Spanish modern municipalities dating from the 16th century to the present. The text focuses on the Spanish and Catalan models from the 16th and 17th centuries, and is articulated around three axes: the identification of the government elite, the institutional framework and the role of both elements in the shaping of the modern state.
