L’escultor Damià Forment a Catalunya

This volume contains a historical study that focuses on the artistic works of the sculptor Damià Forment during the first half of the 16th century in the Principality of Catalonia. The aim is to provide information about one of the most unknown periods of his artistic career. The main contribution of the author is a critical revision of the documentary proofs and sculptural works attributable to Damià Forment. The key element of this study is contextualization as this historical and stylistic phenomenon belongs to a specific space and period. After analyzing the data, the author considers new and plausible theses that have nothing to do with pseudohistory.
