Who were Cardona’s viscounts during the 12^th century? The answer to this apparently innocent question can be quite complex. Even though this aristocratic family has arisen interest among scholars, it is true that its history lacks homogeneity. The author provides new answers to the questions that surround this issue through the close study of the lineage scrolls.
