This book focuses on the leading figure of Vielha’s master, one of the most prolific painters in Catalonia and Aragon at the end of the Gothic era. The text places him in the artistic broad picture of his day and includes his catalogue of paintings. His style has led experts to consider him the pupil of Pere Garcia de Benavarri (1445-1485). As a result, there is also a connection between this painter and Pere Garcia’s son: Bartomeu Garcia (1484-1496).
