This book analyzes society and politics during the Franco Regime through an approach that focuses on social history, gender history and daily life. In this study, special attention is given to unknown social entities such as women, underage citizens and peasants. To do so, several historians specialized in the Francoist dictatorship have contributed to the creation of this volume. The papers gathered offer a qualitative picture of the dictatorship from the point of view of the social entities studied. At the same time, they offer useful answers related to the existing debate concerning social attitudes and popular opinion in European fascist and para-fascist regimes during interwar periods.
