This book studies “the influence of some authors on others, the continuation of a political discourse based on the understanding of poetry as a transformation“. It also covers the connections between Spanish and Hispanic literature, its common points and the diverging ones. These elements are analyzed from the point of view of intertextuality (as in the case of Borges, Unamuno, José Ángel Valente and Lezema Lima), historic and literary movements.
