Duelo y memoria. Espacios para el recuerdo de las víctimas de la represión franquista en perspectiva comparada

This volume gathers eight contributions written by authors that focus on the shaping process of historical memory in Spain and Europe. By analyzing relevant periods such as the Spanish Civil War and repressive violence during the Francoist dictatorship, the text studies the main intervention plans developed in Catalonia, Andalusia and other autonomous regions located in the Green Spain. The current study addresses the challenges resulting from the impact of traumatic memories in a democratic society and provides information on asset management of public spaces related to collective memory and mourning.
