This book is devoted to historical interpretation of mural paintings, mural painting in contemporary art, the fresco painting process and the creation process of the murals located in the Health Sciences Campus of the University of Lleida. Through the approach of several authors, the text provides an up-to-date overview of mural painting’s cultural dimension. The illustrations included show readers the creation process of the University’s murals and shape new meanings as they make clear the existing connection between art and medicine.
