This book recovers a compilation of literary essays in a volume created by Josep Vallverdú 25 years ago during the Spanish transition to democracy. The main aim was to connect again with a tradition that had been wounded by the Francoist dictatorship. Among the five texts of the compilation, three analyse the following literary leading figures in Lleida’s area: Magí Morera i Galícia, Màrius Torres and Guillem Viladot. The other two respectively focus on the writers’ use of literary language in the same area and on a first approach to the 20s magazine Vida Lleidatana.
