Technological changes have radically transformed our societies, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) being one of their main forces. In a social context still marked by patriarchy, this collaborative work analyzes how AI can reproduce and amplify gender inequality and even become a new line for gender-based violence in the digital environment. The book includes seven essays written by specialists in communication, AI, and gender studies, as well as a glossary at the end that facilitates the understanding of technical vocabulary. It is a rigorous, accessible, and essential work for understanding the risks, opportunities, and challenges that technology poses in relation to women’s rights.
